About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement BIM standards, protocols, and workflows across the organization.
Handling and Managing Team for productive work.
Oversee the creation, maintenance, and quality control of BIM models for various projects.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and integrated BIM models.
Lead BIM coordination meetings and facilitate clash detection and resolution processes.
Manage the integration of BIM data with project management and other software systems.
Provide training and support to project teams on BIM tools and best practices.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and company BIM protocols.
Conduct regular audits of BIM models to ensure quality and adherence to project requirements.
Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and advancements, recommending and implementing improvements.
Prepare and present BIM progress reports to senior management and project stakeholders.
Collaborate with IT departments to ensure the smooth operation and security of BIM software and systems.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
5 years of experience in BIM management, with a proven track record of managing BIM processes on large-scale projects.
Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other relevant tools.
Strong understanding of construction processes, structural design, and MEP systems.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Knowledge of industry standards and codes related to BIM and construction.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certifications in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, Certified BIM Manager).
Experience in the technology or consulting industry.
Familiarity with sustainable design practices and green building standards.
Experience with cloud-based BIM collaboration platforms (e.g., BIM 360, Aconex).
